Name:  Larry the Cucumber

From: Veggietales

Appearance: -> The tall, green one

Age: Never stated, his canon has been running for almost twenty years, but I'm pulling him from around 2001-2002. He can act anywhere from five to twenty years old.

Gender: Male

Personality: Larry in one word is…Silly. It’s part of the title of his songs, and it suits him. He’s chronically cheerful, constantly enthusiastic, and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body… metaphorically speaking.

He’s pretty bad at being confrontational and not at all assertive, out of costume, but he can be pretty stubborn when he puts his mind to something. Of course it helps that he hasn’t yet met someone that he truly dislikes.

Backstory: Larry was drawn to be a co-host for a children’s show back in 1993, along with his BFF Bob the Tomato. Together he and Bob introduce the show, and Larry is usually the star of whichever Bible story they are parodying. He has his own segment in the middle of the show Silly Songs with Larry, which is exactly what it says, and where most of the show’s earworms come from. 1995 introduced his superhero persona Larry-Boy, proof that Larry is very much a Batman fanboy, and ever since he’s tried very hard to be Heroic. Of course he isn’t very genre savvy, and thus doesn’t win very often, but dangit, he’s going to keep trying!

Moral Standing: Very much on the Good side of things, and he can’t even play at being a villain, he just does not have the personality for it.

Dreams: To teach kids about God, and record his next Silly Song.

Fears: Not being able to sing his Silly Songs. When his segment was canceled, he had a nervous breakdown and went on a milkshake binge until it was reinstated. He also has a deep fear of being boring.

Extra: He doesn’t have hands, but acts as though he does. That is, all of the vegetables on the show can manipulate objects/clap/put on clothes/etc. This is the subject of constant lampshading throughout the series.

And because he is never shown with humans, and for the sake of simplicity I am making him about three feet tall.
